I recently came across Fed Meal Club, which offers fresh, dietician-curated meals delivered straight to your door, so I just had to try them out! After one week of enjoying their diverse range of breakfasts, lunches and dinners, I thought I’d share my experience for anyone else looking to eat both healthily and conveniently.

There are five different meal plans to choose from: plant-based, full nutrition, low carb/high protein, keto, or diabetic. I selected plant-based this time round, and received meals that included Marinated Tempeh with Asparagus & Lentils, Lemon Tahini Couscous Bowl, & Chocolate, Almond & Coconut Bread Pudding. Yum! I was so impressed with how delicious each of the meals tasted, and how varied my week’s worth of meals were.

I certainly wouldn’t usually dedicate time preparing such flavoursome and nutrient-packed lunches, and I tend to fall into the habit of eating the same few things for breakfast on repeat, so it was such a lovely experience – for both my health and my tastebuds – to expand my food palate, while saving time in the kitchen!

I know many of you will be in a similar boat to me: I’ve just indulged over the Christmas period (rightly so!), work has been busy, I’ve been feeling a bit sluggish, and I’m due to get married this coming summer. For all those reasons and more, I’ve been looking for a way to eat a healthy, balanced diet consistently, that won’t eat into my limited free time too much (pardon the pun!).

What I didn’t realize about Fed Meal Club before I received their meals, is that they really couldn’t be more convenient – they are perfectly portioned, fully prepared, and no matter which menu stream you select, their dieticians have ensured that all your nutrient sources are covered. In fact, they track 30+ nutrients in each meal, to make sure you get the right amount of macro and micro nutrients! They’re free from preservatives, artificial colours, and processed ingredients such as refined sugar. They also prioritize organic and local ingredients.

Their meals are chef-prepared using fresh, seasonal produce, guaranteeing a flavoursome experience and skilled preparation. You are offered new and exciting menu options every week, and you can select how many meals you receive, depending on your schedule. Each meal only needs to be heated for one minute or less before consuming. You can also choose how much sauce to drizzle over, if your meal comes with this, making it perfectly suited to your taste.

Another important element of Fed Meal Club is their eco-friendly stance. They take their environmental impact seriously, operating with a zero food waste model, packaging their meals on biodegradable paper trays, preparing food in an all-electric kitchen, and sourcing ingredients sustainably. All of this, on top of them being a local business ran by lovely people, gains them kudos from me!
